Mike learned to create websites on his own without formal education. His first website, “Mike’s World,” was entirely self-designed and produced.

Concept: An online community exclusively for individuals over 30 years old.
Motivation: Created to meet various people online, both within Japan and internationally.
Duration: Managed and developed the community from 1997 to the end of 2005.
Features: Included text-based chat rooms, electronic bulletin board systems, and email friend mailing lists, all customized using Perl scripts, HTML, and JavaScript.
Impact: The community served as a motivation to pursue a career in the internet industry.
Achievements: Organized offline meetings, attracted over 10,000 members, and exceeded 1 million accesses in 2005. The site was registered in the Yahoo! Japan directory.
